2024 英國：很自在的獨遊時間
英國旅程特意安排兩老去購物中心，讓我享受一下獨遊時間。原定計劃是完成 Viking Coastal Trail（可按這看到官方行程建議），但由於早上要先送兩老去購物中心，再搭火車，大約12時才到，而下午5時要還車，所以最後決定由 Margate 沿海邊踏單車至 Ramsgate，再原路折返還單車。
在The Bike Shed即場租了單車，填了簡單資料，就由職員幫忙選單車，最有趣是不用先付款，還車才付款這種生活態度真的讓我大開眼界。整條海岸路線也非常舒適，炎夏也有其他單車友同行，而且路標清晰，順利於4小時內完成26.5公里的路，非常推薦唷。
2024 England: Very relaxing solo travel time
I purposely organize a shopping day for my parents so that I can enjoy me-time in this England trip. I originally planned to finish Viking Coastal Trail (Click here for official recommendation). However, I needed to help my parents to get on their train before starting off my journey. I was only able to arrive at 12pm and had to return the bike before 5pm. I changed my plan at the last minute to enjoy a return bike trip from Margate to Ramsgate.
I rented my bike at The Bike Shed by filling in personal information. Staff helped choosing the appropriate bike and it was interesting to know that pre-paid was unnecessary. That relaxing life style is eye opening. The whole seaside route is refreshing and there were other bikers even it was hot summer at that time. The route is clearly marked and I was able to finish the 26.5km loop in 4 hr. Highly recommend to others.
交通 Transportation
搭火車由 St Pancras International 至 Margate，需時1小時36分鐘。落車步行5分鐘即到租單車地點。
Take a 1hr 36 min train from St Pancras International to Margate. After walking for 5 min, you will arrive the bike rental shop.
Alongside are different beaches for you to rest, wind breeze is very refreshing
Passing by Kingsgate Bay Beach and it looks like the Seven Sisters
Took a rest on the way back, surprised to see foreigners use this way to remember their loved ones
