2023 Summer Day 0 認真準備體能 預先預訂單車
希望獨遊能夠成為每年都送給自己的小禮物，今年有幸安排與家人同遊日本前先自己單車半環島。首先，有3個月前的假日定期到沙田踏單車，平日盡量有3日到健身室踏45分鐘阻力10以上的單車機，有好好準備才能玩得盡興呀！
因為了解自己體力所限，而且夏天的沖繩炎熱非常，容易中暑，所以不會環全島，而是以單車作為交通工具去我感興趣的景點，於4天後還車。
大部分旅客都會到沖繩輪業株式會（前島2号館社）租借單車，旅客要預先用英文電郵（ cycle@okirin.com ）聯絡，詳情可參考官網。作為新手，一般建議越野公路車，連行李架和簡單維修包，4天合共12600 yen。大家要注意水壺架是包括但電話架是不包括，你可能以2090 yen在店內購買。
前一天到達沖繩，我選擇住在露櫻酒店那覇泊港店，步行3分鐘就到單車店，而且酒店可以寄存行李，非常方便。
Day 0 Enhance my physical fitness and reserve my bike in advance
While solo-travelling has brought me so much energy beforehand, I wish to make it into a yearly gift for myself. Luckily, this year I was able to arrange this trip before my family trip in Japan. First, I went to Shatin to rent a bike to practise regularly during weekends. I also tried my best to engage in a 45-minute level 10 or above biking session in the gym room three times a week. That is how I can have fun under thorough preparation!
Moreover, since I understand my limited physical strength, plus it is easy to suffer from heat stroke under the heat in Okinawa, I would not cycle the whole island. Instead, I would use the bike as my transportation method to go to places that I am interested in and I would return the bike 4 days later.
Most tourists go to Okinawa Ringyo Ltd. (Maejima 2nd Branch) to rent their bikes. You need to make reservation in advance in English (cycle@okirin.com). For details, you may refer to the official website. As a newbie, it is suggested to rent a cross bike. The total amount is 12600 yen, including a rear rack and a tool set. It is noted that a water bottle rack is included but a phone holder is not. You may buy one there in the shop for 2090 yen.
When I arrived the day before, I stayed at Hotel Route Inn Naha Tomariko as it is just 3 minutes from the bike shop. Also, luggage storage is available that makes things easier.
