2023 台灣：早起的鳥兒有蟲吃
我是一位早起的人，朋友很體貼地陪我早起吃早餐。雞腿麵和蛋餅以早餐的程度來說好味到難以形容。但同時我也很驚訝於台灣早餐點的種類和分量，跟一個午餐沒有分別。
而且很多店家也只做早午餐，可以想像很多市民有吃早餐的習慣，更重要是堂食的早餐店很多。相反，在香港（除了連鎖快餐店外）大部分早餐店也是外賣店，而且租金壓力令他們較少只做早餐。果然營商環境很不同，一邊吃早餐想點這些有的沒來的也很有趣。
2023 Taiwan: The early bird catches the worm
I always wake up early and was really grateful that my friend was willing to get up early for breakie with me. The chicken noodle and Chinese omelette were too great to explain in words. At the same time, I was surprised at the variety and size of a Taiwanese breakfast, which is almost the same as a lunch.
Moreover, quite a number of restaurants offers breakfast and they close after early lunch. I can imagine that residents have the habit of having breakfast and they even have time to dine in in the morning. On the other hand, Most restaurants (except whose chained restaurants) offer take away option for busy Hong Kongers and the high rent does not allow them to only open for breakfast. The business environment makes a big difference here and thinking about these random thoughts during breakfast is also very fun.
